Life Lines
Group Exhibition and Collaborative Project
Alfred Gallery, 2024

"Life Lines" is a group exhibition exploring intergenerational transmission.
The participating artists delve into personal and cultural heritage through diverse media, including video, sculpture, drawing, and textiles.

Michal Blayer presents sculptural installations that evoke traces of familial memory embedded in the body and in gestures. Her works explore how inherited narratives—emotional, physical, and symbolic—persist within the present. By working with materials that carry both intimacy and weight, Blayer reflects on the tension between autonomy and legacy, asking what it means to carry the past forward.
